READ MOREThe MP-2B Metallographic Specimen Grinding and Polishing Machine features a dual-disc design, allowing two operators to perform specimen preparation simultaneously. The rotation direction of the discs can be switched between clockwise and counter-clockwise to accommodate various operational preferences. The machine is primarily used for the pre-grinding, fine grinding, and polishing of diverse metallographic specimens; it grinds surfaces, removes deformed layers, and achieves a mirror-like finish, thereby providing high-quality specimens for subsequent metallographic microscopic examination.
Powered by a 750W brushless DC motor, the machine utilizes a multi-ribbed belt drive system for the grinding and polishing discs. It comes with standard Φ230mm discs, with Φ203mm options available upon request. A stepless speed control system allows for a speed range of 0–1500 rpm; users can freely adjust the rotation speed based on specimen material, abrasive grit size, and polishing techniques to meet the specific processing requirements of materials such as ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
